Perhaps it was the "classier" nature of this show, or perhaps it was due to the fact that we made it a point to attend the show on the "Media Only" days, but we didn't have to deal with the throngs of race queen stalkers this time.

As you all may remember, most Japanese car shows are littered with "barcode"-sporting, Coke-bottle glasses-wearing race queen maniacs -- and these guys pack in 30-40 deep at any one time trying to get shots of these girls. Hell, we'd say that these maniacs comprise up to 50 percent of the crowd of any given car show.

It was nice being able to get these shots without having gallons of otaku sweat smeared all over us.
